A big congratulations to the 18 referees who attended the 2018 Grassroots Touch NZ Junior Nationals in the weekend, Alisha Ruaiti, Ben Weaver, Caleb Downes, Cameron Wootton, Chris Baker, Darryl Jones, Dave Roberts, Dave Te Kapa, David Pilkington, Kaylee McCracken, Lacey Turley, Logan Forrester, Matthew Weaver, Simon Keen, Steve Rod, Thomas Pilkington, Vanessa Forrester and Will Hutchinson.

You all did your Province proud both on and off the field and should be proud of your achievements during the tournament.

Congratulations to the following Referees on their Finals appointment at the Junior Nationals:

• George Haswell, 18 Boys Final, ranked no. 1 and Male Referee of the Tournament.
• Alisha Ruaiti, 16 Boys Final, ranked no. 8
• Logan Forrester, 16 Boys Final, ranked no. 9
• Will Hutchinson, 18 Girls Final, ranked no. 12
• Cameron Wootton, 16 Girls Final, ranked no. 16

Congratulations to George Haswell who was awarded Male Referee of the Tournament and Will Hutchinson who was Youth Referee of the Tournament.

Darryl Jones was appointed reserve referee for U16 Boys and ranked no. 21.
